Chenming Hu

Chenming Hu is Professor in Graduate School at UC Berkeley.  He was formerly Chief Technology Officer of TSMC. He is currently a board director of Sandisk, Inc. and of Friends of Children with Special Needs.   He is best known for his work on IC reliability,  BSIM SPICE models, and the FinFET transistor. He has received many awards including IEEE's Morton Award, the Electron Device Society Education Award, the Solid-State Circuits Award, and the Nishizawa Medal as well as UC Berkeley’s highest honor for teaching--the Berkeley Distinguished Teaching Award.
