Vacuum Electronics Committee

Objective

The goal of the committee is to support conferences and journals devoted to vacuum electronics, to actively explore and promote new and emerging disciplines and applications within the field, to reward excellence in vacuum electronics with technical committee and conference awards, and to raise public interest in and awareness of the field.

Membership

Members are volunteers who serve for a two-year renewable term at the invitation of the committee chair. Membership is limited to two consecutive terms so that new ideas can be generated, incorporated, and executed.

 

History

The Committee was founded in 1997 and has continued, uninterrupted, until today.
