IEEE EDS vTools Training for EDS Chapter Officers
IEEE offers a suite of tools under the umbrella of vTools to ease your burden as a Chapter Officer. While there are many online training resources for these tools, EDS is offering a live event for you to learn about the vTools and also to emphasize what is needed to be an active EDS Chapter. IEEE EDS Global Chapters Summit
EDS Special Membership Growth Program
To support the exploration and development of activities and best practices for growing membership in our Society, a new funding opportunity is now available for use by EDS Chapter Officers. This special-project funding is available to support EDS chapters with new initiatives specifically targeting member recruitment and/or retention.
Proposals designed to enhance the participation of student members, young professionals, women, and under-represented communities (i.e. ethnic, social, or economic groups that are under-represented in EDS membership) are especially welcome.
Both one-time and multi-year initiatives will be considered. EDS chapter officers are especially encouraged to propose creative, new ideas with the potential for growing the membership of the Society.

Technical co-sponsorship for technical meetings supported by EDS chapters
EDS chapters are encouraged to organize seminars, symposium, Conferences, etc for their members and professionals in the region. EDS will consider providing technical co-sponsorship for your chapter event.
